QR Themes
A QR Theme is a reusable visual style for the dynamic QR codes attached to your Branded URLs — its size, colors, dot and corner shapes, error-correction level, and an optional center logo. Define a theme once and apply it to as many links as you like.
Creating or editing a QR Theme
After Internal Management (internal name, description, tags, workspace), the design is organized into tabs, with a live QR preview that updates as you edit:
- General Options — the Size and Margin, the Precision (error-correction level, from smallest to best — higher tolerates more damage but is denser), and the Background Color.
- Dots — the Dots Style (the shape of the QR modules), their Foreground color, and an optional Gradient.
- Corner Square — the style and colors of the three large outer "eyes" of the code.
- Corner Dot — the style and colors of the inner dot inside each eye.
- Image — an optional center logo: its Size, the image upload, and whether to hide the background dots behind it for legibility.
Keep enough contrast between the dots and the background, and don't shrink the code or oversize the logo too far — a QR that scanners can't read defeats the purpose. The live preview is your guide.
Where it's used
The Branded URLs sub-tab lists the links currently using this theme. Because QR codes are dynamic, restyling a theme updates every code built from it without reprinting anything.
Defaults, sharing and deleting
Every workspace ships with a default QR Theme. You can share a theme with other workspaces (read-only for the recipient) and replicate one. A theme that is in use can't be deleted until the links using it are detached. Trashed themes open read-only; restore to edit, or force-delete to remove permanently.
