Branded URLs
A Branded URL is a short link on one of your domains that redirects to any destination, and it comes with its own dynamic QR code. Use it to shorten and brand campaign links, track engagement with UTM parameters, send different devices to different places, and control the social preview shown when the link is shared.
The list shows your standalone Branded URLs. Short links that are created automatically for a Branded Page or Branded Site are managed from that page or site, not here.
The Branded URLs list
From the list you can search, filter and sort by internal name, copy a link, and open a row to edit it. Row actions also let you preview the link (opens the destination), view its QR code, view its Stats, replicate it, or delete it. Use the Trashed filter to see deleted links — they open read-only until restored.
Creating or editing a Branded URL
After the Internal Management section (internal name, description, tags, workspace), the Branded URL section is organized into four tabs.
General
- Link to the final destination — the URL visitors are redirected to (required). This is disabled when the link belongs to a Branded Page or Site (manage it from there instead).
- Link — the generated short link itself, with a copy button. Read-only.
- Domain — the domain the short link lives on (required). Choosing one helps generate the slug.
- Slug — the last part of the short link. Leave blank to auto-generate; it's sanitized and must be unique on the domain.
- QR Code Design Template — the QR theme applied to this link's dynamic QR code (required).
Campaign settings
Six optional UTM fields that are appended to the destination so your analytics tool can attribute the traffic: Campaign ID, Campaign source, Campaign medium, Campaign name, Campaign term, and Campaign content.
Targeting
Add per-platform rules to send specific devices/platforms to a different destination. Each rule has a Platform (each platform can be used once) and its own Link to the final destination. Visitors who don't match any rule get the default destination from the General tab.
Preview (sharing)
Controls the social/preview card shown when the link is shared:
- Replace preview of the final destination link — turn on to attach a preview, then pick a Preview template that defines the title, description and images.
- Customize the preview manually instead of using a template — turn on to set the metadata for this link only: Meta title (≤60 chars), Description (≤160 chars), a required Main meta image, and an optional square Meta image 1:1 (for X/Twitter).
Importing in bulk
The list page header offers a Create button and a More menu with:
- Download import template — get a pre-formatted XLSX/CSV with the expected columns (
name,target,description,slug,utm_*, targeting). - Bulk link import — upload that file and pick a domain; the links are created in your workspace in the background.
Migration/legacy-hits imports may also appear when those features are enabled for your tenant.
QR code
Open QR code on any link to see its live, branded QR built from the chosen QR theme (colors, shapes, center logo). The QR is dynamic — it always points at the short link, so editing the destination never invalidates a printed code.
Stats
Open Stats to see hits over time and breakdowns by country, device, browser, language, source, referrer and UTM source/medium/campaign, with date filtering. You can export the hits to CSV.
Deleting
Deleting moves a link to the trash. A link that other content still depends on is protected — the delete is blocked and reported. Trashed links open read-only; restore to edit again, or force-delete to remove permanently.
