Preview Templates
A Preview Template defines the social "preview card" — the title, description and images shown when a Branded URL, Branded Page or Branded Site is shared on social media or chat apps. Set it once and reuse it across many resources, so your shared links always look on-brand.
Creating or editing a Preview Template
After Internal Management (internal name, description, tags, workspace), the Preview Template section has a live preview on the right and these fields:
- Meta Title — the title shown on the share card (required). A live counter helps you keep it short enough to display fully (~60 characters).
- Meta Description — the description under the title (required). A live counter helps you keep it readable (~160 characters).
- Main Image (1200 × 630) — the primary preview image, used by most platforms (required).
- Secondary Image (1080 × 1080) — an optional square image for platforms that prefer it (e.g. X/Twitter).
When editing, an in use indicator tells you whether the template is currently attached to any links, pages or sites.
Where it's used
The sub-navigation tabs list the Branded URLs, Branded Pages and Branded Sites that use this template, so you can see its reach before changing it. A change here updates the share card everywhere the template is attached (unless that resource overrides the preview manually).
Defaults, sharing and deleting
Every workspace starts with a default Preview Template, preselected on new resources. You can share a template with other workspaces (shared templates are read-only for the recipient) and replicate one as a starting point. A template that is in use is protected from deletion. Trashed templates open read-only; restore to edit, or force-delete to remove permanently.
